Risk tolerance varies significantly as you go from country to country and region to region. Risk tolerance can also be negatively influenced or compromised by human factors such as rushing, frustration, fatigue and complacency.

However, the neuroscience behind human error or why people make mistakes is common to everyone, everywhere. There are only four states or human factors that cause 95% of all critical errors and performance errors. The problems these four states cause, due to the chemicals they automatically release, will be explained in this session.

The neuroscience behind complacency will also be explained in depth. However, understanding the problems these four states cause is only the first step. What’s more important is learning what to do about them.

In this session, participants will learn four critical error reduction techniques to help deal with these problems. In addition, participants will also learn ways to deliver and sustain this training to create increased engagement and a positive change in safety culture.

Webinar will highlight:

  • Understand the four human factors responsible for the majority of critical errors
  • Learn practical error reduction techniques to manage risk in real-time situations
  • Gain insights on sustaining behavioral change and improving safety culture
